People

People make the world go round. Say hi. Or better yet, pay for the person behind you's coffee at the drivethru, or their McDonalds. Or whatever. Pay it forward, and all that shit. It makes all parties involved feel good about themselves. Doesn't hurt anyone. It's about one of the only activities you can do these days that doesn't hurt anyone.

Have you seen the people around you, recently? Everyone is hurt. Everyone has a wound. Everyone. How do you heal when you're surrounded. I've been trying to figure it out. Any ideas? How do you help someone when you have no good example of what a person who is perfectly whole is supposed to look like. You can't see it anymore, your vision is warped, and you're stuck, on a boat, out a sea, with only the sick and the damned for company. You can't complain, you're wrapped in chains yourself. An interesting dilemma. What can you do?

i believe that people are not meant to be whole. Humans seem to thrive on misery. On a certain level of chaos. It's not in our nature to be content. It's not natural to be happy. ask nature. she will tell you that the world is meant to be eat or be eaten. kill or be killed. without that cycle, humans have gone crazy. we know that nature wants us to battle for existance and yet we have the whole world handed to us, so to speak. we don't have to worry about an owl swooping in to eat us and our offspring, for example. so what's left? a void, with no way to fill it. so we turn in on ourselves and suffer for it. and that seperates us. our ability to suffer through a seemingly perfect and superior existance. why try to change who we are? sure you may reach out to help a suffering person, but why? do you really believe in selfless acts? no. the idea is to make someone else feel better so that we forget about the empty hollow nature of our own souls. and after we feel pride and happy for a while, we grow bored and move to the next victim. simply getting involved proves that we have some need for violence. mayhem. despair. most of us first stand in awe of chaos. then we rush to help...
